The bracket is 7" long x 1.5" high. The set consists of seven balls, sizes 1/8" thru 1/2" in 1/16" increments with two flags, one straight, one bent 90º. The balls are welded to 8" rods with eyes for hanging.
Do you want to learn more in port flow development? Our flow ball kits are one of the most useful and basic tools for determining flow. Insert a flow ball into your port and observe how the air reacts. There is no need for complicated calculations, you simply note the changes on your flow bench manometer. The changes and the size of change indicate where the flow is active, laminar, or turbulent. The flags show direction of flow.
Until now only engineers and professional engine builders had these tools available. The kit contains seven sizes of balls ranging from ? ” to ½” in 1/16” increments. It also includes two flags, one straight flag and one flag that is bent 90º. The innovative hanger makes testing convenient and easy. A three page instruction sheet helps to get you started. This kit will dramatically increase your understanding of how air flows in ports.
There are two styles available; one without rod markers, or one with rod markers. Rod markers speed up testing by allowing you to reposition the next size ball at your previous test position.
